Introductions, or Why I've Given Up on Holding Out my Original Short Story Collection

Hello all. Robert Gannon here, aka TrentSketch, aka RobertBlue, aka start five billion projects and never finish anything. Well, no longer.

I announced a few months ago that I would be self-publishing a collection of short stories called Letting Go, and have made very little progress. So now I am allowing the web to hold me accountable to writing by starting this blog.

I write in bits and pieces, rarely in order, and almost never focus on one story at a time, so it's not like publishing these stories in this way is actually going to impact sales. So, I'm going to try and come here every day and write SOMETHING for the collection.

I'm cheating on the first writing entry by posting the intro to the titular story Letting Go that was written months ago now.

Hopefully this works out.
